Contrary to initial reports, Apple managed to have a decent amount of iPhone X units in stock on its launch day. Despite the overwhelming response to the device, pre-order numbers far surpassing the company’s expectations, and various other supply-chain issues, Apple ensured that there was a fair availability of the iPhone X on launch week.
Nonetheless, the iPhone X is still out of stock in most markets of the world. Or if the device does come in stock, it is sold out within a few hours. Now, to make it easier for customers to know if the iPhone X is in stock at their nearest Apple Store or not for same day in-store pickup, the Cupertino company is listing this information on its website. Its available only for some major markets across the world which are as follows:
- Australia
- Canada
- France
- Germany
- Italy
- The Netherlands
- Spain
- Sweden
- United Kingdom
- United States
If you live in any of the countries listed above, check out the steps below to know how you can use Apple’s website to know if the iPhone X is available for same day in-store pickup at your nearest Apple Store or not.
Step 1: Head over to Apple Store website for your country and proceed to buy the iPhone X. Select the appropriate carrier and color for your iPhone X.
Step 2: On the page to select storage, you will see a “Pickup: Check availability” option. Clicking on it will open a pop-up box where you can enter your city name or zip code. Type in your zip code and press code. The page will then automatically show if the iPhone X is available for pickup at any of the nearest Apple stores.
If you live in a not so popular area, the iPhone X should be available for same day in-store pickup in at least one of the local Apple stores near you. If not, don’t lose hope. Just keep checking the website every few days for iPhone X availability at your nearest Apple store.
