MIC Gadget reports on photos and video posted by Chinese site Vgooo.com, claimed to be of an iPhone 5 unit, that has leaked from Foxconn – Apple’s manufacturing partner’s plant.

The video shows the iPhone 5 unit booting up to an error that the device is not associated with a registered developer account.

The iPhone 5 unit in the video matches the leaked parts, but a fourth hole at the top of the front panel seems quite odd. Rumors and leaked parts have suggested that the front facing camera has been moved above the earpiece, swapping places with the proximity sensor that has been moved to the left of the earpiece. But we’re seeing the fourth hole for the first time.

While rumors have indicated that Apple has tweaked the design of the Home button for iPhone 5, the iPhone 5 unit in the video does not match the fit and finish of iPhone 4S’ Home button .

The workflow of the activation process also seems quite odd as you need to go through a bunch of steps before you can hit the error shown in the video. So we’ve our reservations over the authenticity of the iPhone 5 unit shown in the video.
