In February 2013, Adobe officially launched a Photoshop app for iOS, but apparently dusk is setting on the app as Adobe refocuses its attention.

On Thursday, May 21, Adobe officially announced via a public blog post that it would be removing Photoshop Touch from the App Store, effectively taking it away from any future downloads for iPhone or iPad owners. Right now, Adobe accounts for over 50 apps within the App Store, and so the company is deciding that some need to go, including Photoshop Touch.

It plans on refocusing its attention on mainly apps available within its Creative Cloud suite, including Adobe Comp CC, Photoshop Mix, Photoshop Sketch and others. Photoshop Touch will get pulled on May 28.

Adobe is moving forward, too, as it has announced in the same blog post a new effort called Project Rigel, which allows for quick retouching of photos and other editing tools. The company published a video showing a sneak peek of the new project, which can be seen below.
