Apple’s App Store has quite a few apps in it, and so the company tends to launch special landing pages for a selection of apps that focus on one thing or another, like reading, writing, or even gaming.
In its latest spotlight, Apple is highlighting the apps that feature VoiceOver support. The “Popular Apps Using VoiceOver” section includes 26 different apps from a range of categories, including news, video, messaging, and other productivity uses.
VoiceOver allows those with a visual impairment to still use their device, and several apps, including those from third-party developers, thanks to audio cues and gestures. VoiceOver is a built-in feature within the UIKit framework for developers, and many have chosen to feature the service within their apps to make them even more accessible.
