Gameloft is here to introduce to you Asphalt 9: Legends, a free arcade racer which lets you race brand new cars and unlock newer series of tracks and cars for an added-on experience of racing altogether. First Things First: It’s All About The Nitro
Arcade racing is a whole different experience as it holds no similarity to the driving experience in real life. Arcade racing is about skimming through a tornado and bustling between segments of tracks clubbed with tons of Boosts and humungous jumps!
But before you can get to all that you need to get familiar with the Nitro Button as it’s the most important tool in the whole game which when used judiciously can make you win amazingly and efficiently.
The Nitro button is placed at the top of the screen which has to be used often and is filled by running into the nitro bottles by doing jumps or 360 or by using the button to drift through turns which is placed on the opposite side of the screens. Double tap the drift button to do a signature Asphalt 360. They’re not easy to pull off and when you land, your speed will go down for a while, but once executed perfectly, your nitro bar will be refilled to full!
These Nitros can be used at any point in time until the meter runs down. You can aim for more speed by tapping it a second time for when you enter the blue area. Tapping the button when the meter is in purple creates a Nitro Jolt which the fastest boost possible but also burns through the meter fastest.

Keep Knocking Them Out
You can Knockout the other cars for a while or out of the race by simply double tapping the drift button while in Nitro boost and if done in the right time, you can do a 360 that would bash off the cars out the tracks.
Master The New TouchDrive System
One new and very interesting features the developers have come up in this version is the TouchDrive.
With TouchDrive engaged the car accelerates and steers itself, but the nitro and the drifts are in total control of the gamer. So, their partial comfort of not handling the car totally as well as feeling the of thrill using the Nitros and Drifts.
Also, conveniently you can view the track’s features coming up ahead in the next few minutes on the icons at the top of the screen. TouchDrive increases convenience but is not always a sure-fire if your timing for tapping the Nitro or Drift buttons is wrong, your car is still liable to go off-limits or off the track and miss the wrong jumps.

Open Card packs in the shop: The shop will hand you a free pack of Blueprints every four hours and unlock some mobile games.
They are valid up to four hours and don’t stack so it has to be kept check every four hours.
Use Tokens: Tokens which is the premium currency which can also be spent to hit a chance at some rare cars.
Pick BluePrints in the Legend store: Beside the Card packs is the Legend Shop which offers an on-going selection of car blueprints every few hours.
Here’s the thing. Not all rules apply to all cars. Some cards can be bought by credits and others by tokens.
But here you need to spend more currency for each successive blueprint which becomes cost ineffective and not viable, but still there this option if you need to buy some rare upper-class car once or twice.
Upgrade Your Cars
This goes without saying but work on the weakest points in your car. The first things you should upgrade is the top speed and the Nitro. These two things will help you the most when it comes to knocking out your opponents and leaving them behind in the dust!
Be Mindful of Fuel and Energy Consumption
Asphalt 9 doesn’t have an overarching energy system that decides upon how much you can play in each session but what it does have in each car, in your collection, is its own separate supply of Gas, which finishes off at six units.
It means that you can only do six races with each car or you can wait to refill your gas or take action to get more right away. There are multiple options other than to wait till you refill your gas and that can be done by paying some extra tokens or by watching some ads.
Multiple ads might have to be watched depending on the length of the refill, but after its done, your fuel tank gets refilled. Also ranking up your reputation is another way to fuel up your tank. Each time you level up your profile you get a fuel refill for every car no matter how many you own.
The Secret To Getting Credits for Free
By now you must have realized that Asphalt 9 is a classic free game that relies on on point structure and the only way out of it is to pay for in-app purchases. Or is it?
You can be a bit smarter about it and get credits for free. However, much credits you have, its never going to be enough as for every performance upgrade you will require more credits. You get credits for every race. But to speed up the process of earning, the first thing to look up at is on My Career Races that have multiple goals.
Every goal achieved gets you a flag which can help get credits as well as unlock more season rewards. Knocking out three flags in one race can bring you thrice the credits. So, check out the different goals and task in My Career mode.
Also, Daily Events can reward you with some quick cash where there are each class of cars that bears credits as rewards. Beating the best target time can get you four different credit rewards from a single race which pays to have a car in each class.
