With the amount of praise and attention that Pokemon Go has received, many Cydia developers have taken advantage of jailbreak to create tweaks that make it more fun to play the game. Unfortunately, users who took the decision to jailbreak their iOS 9.3.3 device faced a terrible consequence when it came to playing Pokemon Go.

Apparently, the developers at Niantic/Nintendo have placed a jailbreak detection code within the game that is capable of determining whether a device is jailbroken or not. Due to this, Pokemon Go crashes on devices that are jailbroken.

As is always the case, there is a fix for bypassing jailbreak detection in Pokemon Go to prevent the game from crashing, thanks to a new tweak that debuted recently in Cydia. To find out how to prevent Pokemon Go from crashing after jailbreaking iOS 9.3.3, read the guide below.

 Fix Pokemon Go App Crashing After iOS 9.3.3 Jailbreak

Step 1: Launch Cydia and switch to Sources tab.

Step 2: Tap on Edit -> Add and type in the following URL: http://cokepokes.github.io

Step 3: Press Add Source and wait until Cydia adds the new repository. Once done, press Return to Cydia.

Step 4: Now, switch to the Search tab and search for ‘Masterball‘ package. Tap on it to open.

Step 5: The Masterball package fixes the startup crash in Pokemon Go and bypasses jailbreak detection. To install it, tap on Install in the top right corner of Cydia.

Step 6: Cydia will start the installation and after it finishes, press respring to restart your device.

By installing this package, you can now bypass jailbreak detection in Pokemon Go and play it without any issues. Go on and enjoy catching Pokemons in the real world and rule your local gym without facing any crash issues.
