GlovePod lets jailbroken iPhone change music track with volume button

One of the big problems with touchscreen phones is that they can sometimes be difficult to work with during winters.

While you will have to inevitably remove your gloves while typing or surfing, simpler things like changing a music track can also be difficult if you are wearing gloves.

There is a cool new jailbreak iPhone app available on the Cydia store, which brings a simpler music control alternative on jailbroken iPhones. It is not exactly an iPhone app but a system tweak that will let you change tracks or play music with the volume and power buttons while your iPhone is locked.

With GlovePod installed, you can use your Volume Down button to go to the previous track and use the Volume Up button to play the next track. Pause or play the music by holding the power button down.

With the app available for free at Cydia, I am sure it would be pretty popular among the jailbroken iPhone users. What do you think? Will you be downloading the iPhone app? Do give us your feedback about the hack in the comments section below.
