We have already seen some interesting hidden features in iPhone firmware 2.0 like the one we wrote about earlier today (iPhone Remote App also Acts as Wi-Fi Keyboard for Apple TV).

iPhone Atlas has just reported a couple more hidden features. Both seem to be an extension of the hidden features that we have already mentioned here at iPhone Hacks.

One seems to be an extension of the built-in screen capture shortcut, while the other seems to be an extension to be internationalization of the feature where you can hold down the ".com" button to get more selection of domain name endings as compared to the earlier firmware.

Use Zoom with the Screen shot Feature:

With iPhone firmware 2.0 its very simple to take screen shot as it has a built-in screen capture shortcut.

All you need to do is Hold the "home" button, then hit the "power/sleep" button, the screen will momentarily flash, and the iPhone’s current screen contents will be saved to the Camera Roll.

Some of you might have already figured this out, but James1292, a user on Apple’s discussion boards has found out that the screen shot feature can be used in conjunction with the zoom feature. Simply, zoom to the desired depth then trigger a screenshot by pressing the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for the desired screen contents to be saved to the Camera Roll..

Domain Name Endings and International Keyboards:

When you type a website URL in the address bar, you can now hold down the ".com" button to get a selection of 3 other domain name endings: ".net," ".edu," and ".org" and tap on any of the endings to insert them in the address bar.

You also get ".net," ".edu," and ".org." domain name endings along with ".com" by holding down the period button in the compose email screen.

However, if you are missing the top level domains associated with you language then no problem, you can turn them on as follows:

Launch Settings then go to: General, Keyboard > International Keyboards and turn ON the desire keyboards.

You can rotate through configured languages by tapping the small “globe” icon on the left side of the spacebar to select the language.

After you have selected the desire language, hold down the ".com" button to get a selection of 3 other domain name endings which now includes the most common top level domains for your country i.e in US/English: .net, .edu, .org, .com, in Germany: .edu, .org, .de, .com, in Spanish: .edu, .org, .es, .com (as seen in the screen shot below).

This will work in a similar fashion in the mail app as well by holding down the period button in the compose email screen.

Do you know of an iPhone tip or trick that has not been featured here at iPhone Hacks? If "yes" then we would love to hear about it in the comments.
