iPhone X brings an entirely new identity to the iPhone. For the first time in 10 years, there’s a whole new physical design. There are new ways to interact with the software. And also, there are new sounds. The iPhone’s Marimba ringtone is now iconic. For iPhone X, Apple has included a new ringtone out of the box. But thanks to some crafty individuals we can now add the ringtone file to any iPhone.
Here’s what the Reflection ringtone sounds like.

The 3-steps to set iPhone X’s new ringtone on any iPhone:
Step 1: Download Ringtone
Download the Reflection ringtone from here. Then, on your Mac or PC, rename the extension to .m4r.
Step 2: Sync Ringtone Using iTunes
For this step, we’re using the latest version of iTunes (12.7). If you’re using an older version, the steps might differ. Connect your iPhone to iTunes and start the sync process. Now, on the top, you’ll see the little iPhone icon. Click on it to see all the details of your iPhone sync. Here, in the sidebar, you’ll find a Tones subsection. Click on it.
Now, just drag over the ringtone audio file over the iTunes window, in the empty Tones section. Hit the Sync button, wait for the sync to complete and detach your iPhone.
Step 3: Set Your New Ringtone
Now, go to Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtones on your iPhone. The first thing you see at the top will be Reflection. Tap on it and you’ll hear a bit of preview. Go back to Settings and you’ve successfully set the new ringtone.
