Many iCloud users are reporting that they have been unable to access iCloud Mail and Notes since the last couple of hours. Apple has also confirmed the outage on its service status page which affects “multiple iCloud services,” with around 0.86% of iCloud users being affected by it.

Some users have been unable to send/receive any mails through iCloud Mail since the last couple of hours, and others are tweeting about the outage not saving any of their lengthy emails.

Apple cloud services have been very unreliable and various services are affected by outages from time to time. In fact, it was only earlier this week that many of the company’s websites were also experiencing a widespread outage. No wonder the company is building its own cloud storage infrastructure to reduce its reliance on third-party services.
