It is almost certain that iPhone 5S will be available in gold alongside black (Black & Slate) and white (White & Silver).
But it looks like gold is not the only new color, iPhone 5S may also come in grey or graphite color with black pigment glass inlays.
Sonny Dickson has posted new leaked photos of the partially assembled iPhone 5S in grey or graphite color with black pigmented glass inlays. He writes:
Up to this point, it has widely been thought that the iPhone 5S will only come in 3 colors: Gold, Slate, and white with silver trim. According to a new images we’ve obtained, however, it appears the iPhone 5S may also come in a 4th color – a grey or graphite color with a black trim.
As you can see in the image below, the rear shell has cut-out for the rumored dual-LED flash. The color of the antenna matches the grey or graphite color of the anodized aluminum back plate.
If someone else would have published these photos, I would have dismissed it as fake, but Dickson has solid contacts within Apple’s supply chain, and has a good track record with pre-launch Apple product leaks.
Apple is widely expected to unveil iPhone 5S and the rumored iPhone 5C at a media event on September 10, followed by the launch on September 20.
Let me what you think of the possibility of iPhone 5S coming in grey/graphite color. Will you buy one or stick to the all-black or all-white iPhone 5S? I defintietly like it more than the gold with white inlays.
