The iPhone X looks downright beautiful with its bezel-less Super Retina HD display at the front, steel chassis, and the glass back. YouTuber EverythingApplePro, however, has taken things to the next level by giving his iPhone X a totally transparent rear panel.
The transparent rear glass panel allows one to see the internals of the iPhone X in all its glory which includes the dual-cell battery, wireless charging coil, and shielding on various PCB components to prevent interference. The transparent glass panel used for the mod is the same one which Apple ships with the phone. The YouTuber simply uses a knife and other sharp objects to remove the black panel coating from it.
If you want to do a similar mod on your iPhone X, the video from the YouTuber also has the detailed steps. However, it goes without saying that doing such a mod on your iPhone X will end up voiding its warranty. And if you are new to these things, chances are you will end up damaging your iPhone X during the process. You will also lose out on the IP67 water resistance certification of the iPhone X during the process as well. But at the end, you will end up with a one-of-a-kind iPhone X in your circle.
