Spotify has just released a major update for its iOS app.

Spotify v1.0.0 features an all-new user interface with a darker theme, refreshed topography and rounded iconography.

In addition to the redesign, the update also brings a new feature called Your Music which Spotify says will “help you save, organise and browse your favourite music the way you want to.”

The update also comes with an improved browse feature that will deliver even more relevant and localised content according to Spotify.

So regardless of whether you’re looking for something to fall asleep to, or the perfect playlist to get you geared up for your big night out, finding the right music for every moment is easier than ever.

Spotify also says in the release notes that the startup time has been improved, however it still takes a long time in my opinion, and you still get the annoying message “You’re offline” briefly before it loads the content.

However, the revamped user interface looks great, and a lot cleaner and modern.

Spotify has said that it plans to roll out the new design, Your Music and the updated Browse feature gradually to the iPhone, desktop and web users from today, and will soon be available across all platforms. However, it looks like the updated app is already available in the App Store.

If the app hasn’t been automatically updated, you can download the update via the Updates tab in the App Store app or use this iTunes link.
