It looks like Apple will have a surprise for us at its iPhone 11 ‘By Innovation Only’ event next week. A reputed leaker has used Steve Jobs iconic “but there’s one more thing” line to hint about this on Twitter.
This is the same source who has suggested that Apple will use the ‘Pro’ naming scheme for its iPhone 11 lineup this year.
We already know that Apple will be announcing the iPhone 11 series, Apple Watch Series 5, and the release date of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13.
The company is working on its 2019 iPad Pro refresh, a new 10.2-inch iPad, and a 16-inch MacBook Pro but these devices will likely be announced at a separate event in October. The 16-inch MacBook Pro is definitely going to be a major upgrade over the existing MacBook Pro models but Apple would not want it to steal all the thunder from the iPhones.
Considering that the iPhone 11 event is going to be Apple’s major media event, it won’t use the “one more thing” card to announce a product like this. It is possible that we can see Apple give us a preview of its AR glasses. After all, code found in internal iOS 13 builds confirm that Apple is working on adding support for its AR glasses to it.

Previous rumors have suggested that these AR glasses would go into mass production by the end of 2019 and will be ready for release by early 2020.
Apple is also working on a Tile-like accessory and the company could announce it at the event as well. Apple is reportedly also working on an Apple TV refresh with a powerful A12 Bionic chip. But again, it would seem very unlikely for Apple to introduce it using the ‘One more thing’ line.
Given that the track record of this source has been accurate in the past, we should definitely expect Apple to surprise us at its iPhone 11 event next week with a major announcement.
What do you think Apple will announce at its iPhone 11 event? AR glasses? Or is it the Tile-like tracker? Or could it be something completely different? Drop a comment and let us know!
