The iPhone 11 Pro with its A13 Bionic chip has passed through Geekbench giving us an idea of just how powerful it is. The Geekbench listing also suggests that the iPhone 11 Pro ships with 4GB RAM, though there is a possibility that this is incorrect.

The A13 Bionic inside the iPhone 11 Pro scored 5472 in the single-core and 13769 in the multi-core benchmarks. For comparison, the iPhone XS scores around 4813 and 10266 in the single-core and multi-core benchmarks.

If the scores are anything to go by, the multi-core performance of the iPhone 11 Pro has improved by a notable margin over the A12 Bionic found inside the iPhone XS series. While the single-core performance has also improved, the improvement is not as big as what we see in the multi-core benchmarks.

Over in the Android world, the Galaxy S10+ with its Snapdragon 855 chip scores 3467 and 10633 in the single-core and multi-core benchmarks. It is once again clear that the A13 Bionic chip inside the latest iPhones is significantly faster than the best Android chip out there. No wonder Apple boldly claimed that the CPU and GPU inside the newest iPhones are the fastest in a smartphone out there.

One must also remember that the A13 Bionic inside the iPhone 11 series is more power-efficient so it is impressive that Apple has managed to improve performance while reducing power consumption at the same time. The improved power efficiency of the A13 Bionic along with other components are likely to have played a major role in the iPhone 11 Pro series offering up to 4-5 hours longer battery life than the iPhone XS series.

As for the amount of RAM, it is likely that there is a mistake as Geekbench has issues properly reading the amount of RAM on iOS devices. The iPhone 11 Pro likely comes iwth 6GB RAM while the iPhone 11 ships with 4GB RAM.
