It’s that time a week again where we take a look at the best tweaks that were released over the past week. This week we have a few free tweaks that are definitely worth checking out. So even if you don’t want to open up your pocket book there’s something here for you to give a try.
ReturnToSender – Free
This tweak is going to get rid of the “return” button on your keyboard in the Messages app. It’s hardly ever used, so it might as well be made useful by turning it into a “Send” button. And that’s exactly what ReturnToSender does. This way if it feels more natural to hit the equivalent of the “Enter” key on your keyboard, you can do just that to send a text message.
Melodic – $0.99
This tweak is cleverly designed to be built right into the Music app. Just swipe to the left on a song name and it will reveal some options for you to choose. This tweak will give you the ability to queue up songs to different positions as well as share them through your Messages app or Airplay for the recipient to play them in their entirety. If you need some assistance with some of the buttons and what they do, the tweak has a built in manual that you can check out, or you can just watch the video below walking you through the entire tweak.
CClean – Free
If you’re a fan of a simple and minimalistic looking control center, look no more. This is a free tweak that will allow you to hide UI elements and clean background buttons/separators to give your Control Center a much more elegant look and feel. With a free price tag, this tweak is hard to turn down.
SimpleCenters – $1.00
If you’re looking for something a little more in depth than CClean and you also want to bring that simplicity and minimalistic look to your Notification Center, then this is the tweak for you. There a numerous toggles of different UI elements to hide for bothe the NC and the CC. You’ll also have the ability to change the look of the blur if that’s something that tickles your fancy. This tweak basically gives you complete control over how your NC and CC look and feel.
ArithamticAlarm8 – $0.99
This probably isn’t a tweak that I could use because it’d stress me out too much, but if you need some exercise for that brain of yours the second you wake up, you might want to check out this tweak. It’s going to set off an alarm for you in the morning (of course are you specified time) and before you can actually turn off the alarm, you’ll have to solve a math problem. Once you input the correct answer, the alarm will stop, but if you can’t answer it, it’s going to continue to blare that alarm.
