Earlier this week, Apple stopped signing iOS 12.1.1 and iOS 12.1.2 making downgrades from iOS 12.1.3 no longer possible for it. With a possible iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 jailbreak expected to drop later this month, the closing of signing window for the two firmware was a big deal.
Apple kept signing iOS 12.1.1 – iOS 12.1.2 for usual than longer even after the release of iOS 12.1.3. Yet if you somehow still did not find the time to downgrade your iPhone or iPad to iOS 12.1.1 – iOS 12.1.2 to jailbreak it later on and are bummed about the signing window being closed now, worry not.
Apple is still signing iOS 12.1.1 beta 3 so you can always downgrade your iPhone or iPad to it. There’s only one catch here — you will have to live with pop-up dialog boxes that a new beta build is available. These pop-ups will show up every once in a while but if you really want to jailbreak your iPhone running iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2, this is your only chance.
You can download the iOS 12.1.1 beta 3 IPSW file from here. Then follow the guide to downgrade from iOS 12.1.3 to iOS 12.1.1 – iOS 12.1.1 to downgrade your iPhone or iPad back to iOS 12.1.1 beta 3. With iOS 12.1.4 released, I don’t expect Apple to continue signing iOS 12.1.1 beta 3 for long. So if you need to downgrade, do so as soon as possible.
