Apple has had its digital storefront in place for years, with some discounts available in certain cases. But now the company has a dedicated storefront for the active and veteran military with a set discount in place across its device line.
As was first reported on Monday by Steven Aquino, Apple has launched a dedicated storefront to take orders from active and veteran military. The discount for those who have served, and are currently serving, has been in place for awhile now. However, this is the first time that Apple has launched a dedicated storefront to handle orders for those who fall into these categories.
The 10% discount is available for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, the Apple Watch, and several other devices and accessories.
Here’s Apple’s statement on the new addition, as was reported by Aquino:
“At Apple we are deeply grateful to the men and women of our armed forces. We’re proud to offer active military and veterans a new dedicated online store with special pricing as an expression of our gratitude for their brave service.”
You can check out the official storefront through the source link below.
This new storefront is especially nice for disabled veterans who are looking for devices that can help with certain aspects of their life. Apple actually profiled on such individual when we heard about Scott Leason earlier this year, a disabled Navy veteran who uses the iPhone’s accessibility features every day.
