GBA4iOS 2.0: GBA Emulator for iOS 7 coming tomorrow, will work even without a jailbreak

A new version of GBA4iOS, the popular Game Boy Advance emulator, will be releasing tomorrow with a bunch of features, a new iOS 7 design, and performance fixes. Most importantly, it’ll work even on non-jailbroken devices.

Here are some of the features in GBA4iOS 2.0:

  • An iOS 7 redesign with transparency, flat UI elements and more
  • Dropbox support and an in-app browser to add ROMs
  • Support for MFi Game Controllers
  • iPad support
  • Cheat codes
  • Themes
  • Support for Game Boy and the Game Boy Color in addition to Game Boy Advance

The Emulator will work even without a jailbreak, taking advantage of Apple’s Enterprise Distribution program, where certain non-App Store apps can be installed on iOS devices without a jailbreak.
