iPhone 11 Pre-Orders Now ‘Preparing to Ship’

Less than a day after Apple started accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, the company has updated the pre-order status for many customers to “preparing to ship.”

It is typical of Apple to change the pre-order status of new iPhones to “preparing to ship” around 24 hours after it first starts accepting pre-orders for them.

If you have pre-ordered an iPhone or iPhone 11 Pro and your order status has changed to “preparing to ship” as well, you can no longer cancel it. That is only possible as long as Apple is still “processing” your order.

The change in order status to “preparing to ship” does not mean you are going to get your iPhone 11 before the launch day though. You are still going to get it on September 20th — the official launch date of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro series. If you got your pre-order in a bit later than usual and were shown a delivery date of last week of September or early October, you are going to get your phone around that time only.

Did you pre-order the new iPhones? If so, has the status of your pre-order changed?
