Turkey’s first Apple Store is all set to be opened on the 5th of April in Istanbul’s Zorlu Center. We have now gained access to images from inside and outside the new premises, giving us a brief idea of its architecture. Evidently, it’s not different from any other Apple Store as the interior design remains pretty much the same. As iPhone Turka rightly points out, the design on the front is very similar to Apple’s 5th Avenue outlet in New York City.
The roof is made up of monolithic glass in the shape of a cube, adding to the overall design of the store. There’s also a decorative pool of water between the glass and the surface as you can see from the images below. Underneath this gorgeous roof is a two-storey complex.
Apple is expected to open another store in Istanbul soon, although no time frame is available at the moment. Local fans can head over to the first Apple Store in the country starting from 10AM on the 5th of April.
Tim Cook recently met with Turkish officials to discuss a new $4 billion iPad deal for the education sector. So Apple has been trying to expand presence in this region for quite some time now.
