Twelve South Forté

Twelve South has a knack for creating worthwhile accessories for Apple products, including stands for the MacBook lineup. Now there’s a new Apple Watch stand to consider.

Twelve South has officially launched a brand new stand for Apple’s wearable, called the Forté. Twelve South says the design was inspired by the Watch itself, which features a chrome arm that extends from the base of the stand. This will hold the Apple Watch at a 40-degree angle, which the company says makes it easy to read from a bedside table. The stand makes it possible for the Watch to be positioned either in portrait, or horizontally to access Nightstand mode.

The Forté’s stand is wrapped in leather, and Twelve South says that it can function as a dock for the iPhone, too.

As is par for the course, Apple Watch owners will need to use the MagSafe charger that came with their wearable to charge up their device while it’s on the stand.

As far as pricing and availability go, the Forté is available now from Twelve South’s website for $59.99. It is also available at every Apple Retail Store in the United States and Canada beginning today. Twelve South it will be rolling out to other Apple Retail Stores in other regions in the coming weeks.
