AT&T has just launched a new “Mobile Share Value Plan” for families and small businesses, which gives both new and existing AT&T customers an option to share unlimited talk and text, and 10GB of data starting at $130 for two smartphones.
There has been an interesting development on the jailbreak front. iH8sn0w, developer of popular jailbreak tools such as p0sixspwn and Sn0wbreeze, has just tweeted that he has discovered a new iBoot exploit, which should make the A5(X) devices jailbreakable for life.
Apple set to break into the fitness and medical field with the iWatch and iOS 8
There’s little doubt Apple is working on a health and fitness device. The company has been hiring researchers from the medical sector, applying for patents and meeting with the FDA. The latest leak from 9to5 Mac adds more pieces to the puzzle with a new story that describes how Apple will ties together the iWatch, health tracking and iOS 8.
Couple of weeks back, Steve Jobs’ biographer Walter Isaacson said in a television interview with CNBC that the greatest innovation today is coming from Google, implying that Apple was less innovative than Google.
Job listings suggest the iPod is still on Apple’s radar
The iPod may be declining, but it is apparently not dead. According to a report by 9to5Mac, the company is still hiring program managers and engineers within the iPod division.
9to5Mac reports that Apple is aggressively pursuing the launch of its new plant in Mesa, Arizona by February.

Apple released iOS 7.0.5 earlier today to correct networking provisioning for some iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c models sold in China. If you got the update and accidentally updated to it, then the good news is that iOS 7.0.5 can still be jailbroken using evasi0n7.

CEO Tim Cook hints at Touch ID integration with mobile payment system
Apple CEO Tim Cook said during Apple’s earnings conference call that the company has an interest in Touch ID-assisted mobile payments. These comments come hot on the heels of an earlier report from the Wall Street Journal that suggests Apple is actively working on a mobile payment system.
Apple Sold 51 Million iPhones And 26 Million iPads In Q1 2014
Apple has posted revenue of $57.6 billion and quarterly net profit of $13.1 billion, or $14.50 per diluted share in the first fiscal quarter of 2014 (fourth calendar quarter of 2013), compared to revenue of $54.5 billion and quarterly net profit of $13.1 billion, or $13.81 per diluted share in the year-ago quarter.
Apple doesn’t plan to merge iOS and OS X; OS X 10.10 to feature “Flatter” look
It has been widely speculated that at some point of time, Apple will merge Mac OS X and iOS operating systems. However, don’t expect that happening in 2014, as Apple executives during an interview with Macworld categorically denied that the company has plans to merge the two operating systems.
