I have been using the OS X El Capitan Public Beta for a few weeks now and have enjoyed my time so far. But I can say that I was disappointed to only find one new wallpaper for the upcoming OS X. I am sure that when El Capitan is officially released they will have a few more, like five available wallpapers for OS X Yosemite. But, with the release of the El Capitan Developer Beta 6, came the addition of one more wallpaper, which we will show you how to get after the break.
How to get the new OS X El Capitan Wallpaper
Since the Developer Beta isn’t open to the public, not everyone has the chance to enjoy the beautiful new wallpaper. But thanks to Reddit user 0xmort3m the OS X wallpaper can be downloaded by anyone right now.
The new images comes from another famous Yosemite landmark, Glacier Point. Yosemite is one of the most impressive places I have ever seen. Not only are the rock formations absolutely amazing, but the scenery around the trails and campsites epitomizes the wonders of California. I was glad that Apple realized that the nightly view of the stars was something worth creating a wallpaper for. The scenic view of Glacier Point is a great addition to the El Capitan wallpaper gallery.
Here is the 3072 x 1920 resolution uploaded to IMGUR by 0xmort3m.
There is also the full resolution image available here, coming in at 5120 x 3200. The new wallpaper looks great on my Macbook desktop.
