Apple Music launched a few months ago to mixed reviews and a Taylor Swift protest, but has shown some positive signs and is something I use daily. One of the main selling points to their new service is Beats 1 Radio. Since some streams are live, it’s very easy to miss shows that might air too late at night or too early in the morning. Knowing this, Apple recently updated the application and now allows people to replay Beats 1 radio shows after they have aired.
How to replay a Beats 1 shows in Apple Music
Beats 1 has been regarded by some as just radio on the internet, but the program features world-renowned DJs with 24/7 live streaming shows and a bunch of exclusive content. You can catch streams from Dr. Dre, Zane Lowe, and Ebro Darden. Now, if you missed one of their streams or any of the numerous radio broadcasts (including all interviews and commentary) you can replay those in a few steps. The replays are available 12 hours after they have aired.
Step 1: Tap/Click Radio inside of the Apple Music app.
Step 2: Tap/Click the Beats 1 logo.
Step 3: Scroll down and tap/click on the DJ of your choice
Step 4: Tap/Click the Connect tab.
Step 5: Tap/Click the replay you would like to hear.
These steps are the same for the mobile and desktop applications. There could probably be a more direct way in finding replays, so hopefully Apple simplifies this process in the next update. You can also search “Zane Lowe replay” and gain access to the streams from there — a much easier endeavor.
If you aren’t sure who is playing when, make sure to check out the Beats 1 Radio schedule so you never miss a great stream.
