Earlier today, Apple released its streaming music service — Apple Music. The streaming service offers a plethora of features, including a live 24 x 7 radio station, a music library of over 30 million songs, curated playlists, and more.

In addition to being able to stream songs, you will also be able to save songs from Apple Music to be able to listen to them offline later on without an active data connection. Wondering how to do that? Check out the steps below and find out.

Note: You can save songs, albums and even playlists for offline listening using the steps below.

Step 1: Open the new Music app on your iPhone or iPad and head over to the ‘For You’ or ‘New’ section.

Step 2: Now, any song or album that you would like to save for offline listening, simply tap the 3-dot menu button beside it and select the ‘Make Available Offline’ option.

Step 3: The song/album/playlist will be automatically downloaded in the background for offline playback and can be found under the ‘My Music’ tab.

There does not seem to be any limit to the number of songs that you can store for offline playback from Apple Music on your iOS device, but do keep in mind that you will need access to a working data connection or Wi-Fi connection from time to time to make sure that these songs are still playable offline.
