Transfer Spotify Music Library to Apple Music on iPhone

Apple Music and Spotify are the two biggest music streaming services in the world. Both of them offer millions of songs, soundtracks, podcasts, and videos to their users. However, they mostly differ in terms of features and usability.

Some users switch between these music streaming services based on various factors such as the availability of a particular feature like lyrics and sleep timer or when a particular artist’s music is removed from one service. If you’re someone who’s looking to shift from Spotify to Apple Music and want to transfer your library, we have an easy-to-use solution for you.

Transfer Spotify Library to Apple Music on iPhone or iPad

We are going to use an app called SongShift, which can easily transfer songs and playlists between various music streaming services, including Apple Music and Spotify. I would advise you to create a playlist in your Spotify account that includes all the music tracks from your Spotify library.

Here’s how to use it to transfer your Spotify music library to Apple Music:

Step 1: Install the SongShift app on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Launch the SongShift app.

Step 3: Click on the Settings icon on the top right corner of the app’s home screen.

Step 4: Now choose the Music Services option after which you will be presented with a list of music streaming services. Tap the Connect button beside Apple Music.

Step 5: You’ll be asked to authorize the connection with Apple Music. Click the Authorize button. And then click OK in the pop-up menu.

Step 6: Now scroll down the list and choose Spotify since your current music library is with Spotify by clicking on the Connect button next to it.

Step 7: You’ll now be redirected to the Spotify login page. Enter your login credentials here and log in. Now scroll down and click the green ‘Agree’ button.

Step 8: Go back to the home screen of the Songshift app. Click on the SongShift icon on the homepage of the app.

Step 9: Click on the Setup Source button. Proceed to tap on the Spotify logo followed by the Playlist option and then choose the playlist that you want to transfer.

Step 10: Now click on the Setup Destination button and tap the Apple Music icon after that.

Step 11: Now click whether you want your music to be added to your library, an existing playlist, or a new playlist. After that, tap the I’m Finished button.

Step 12: Your music will now be transferred to your Apple Music account.

Open Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, or any other device that has the Apple Music app. You can find all the music from your Spotify library in your Apple Music library/playlist.
