If you’re into note taking apps and happen to use OneNote—or not—heads up because to celebrate 1000 Likes on Facebook and 2 years as an app Outline+ plus is free, for just one day.

Personally, I haven’t used Outline+ before, however I really like the look of it. It reminds me of something like a combination of Page and Evernote, which has a certain appeal to me. So while I can’t say that this is or isn’t a great note taking app, I can say that I know folks who use it (and OneNote) and they like it.

That said, Outline+ is free right now and it’s usually $15. Yeah, $15, so no matter how I slice it, it’s a great deal.

As for “how do I get these notebooks into my PC”…the answer is your favorite and mine Dropbox. Which works for me. I will say that I’m going to give the app a solid try, not sure I’ll stick with it because it won’t have the connection to my Mac like Evernote does. However…I like the style and layout of the app.
