Snapchat Trophies

Snapchat has allowed users to replay one Snap every day for the last two years, but that’s a lot of restriction for heavy users that might want to look at a Snap again.

So the latest update will be a nice addition for those heavy users. With it, users can pay $.99 to buy a pack of three Replays, which they can use at any time. However, that pack won’t let you replay the same Snap over and over again, so keep that in mind.

“We introduced Replay in Additional Services almost two years ago, and we’ve used it to relive those amazing moments (or the ones we weren’t paying attention to…) just one more time before they disappear. We’ve provided one Replay per Snapchatter per day, sometimes frustrating the millions of Snapchatters who receive many daily Snaps deserving of a Replay. But then we realized — a Replay is like a compliment! So why stop at just one?”

As far as other new features go, Snapchat is also introducing Trophies, which will let users accumulate accolades and other stickers as they use the app. Snapchat won’t actually notify users when they receive a trophy or sticker, though, so you’ll have to keep tabs on it yourself.

And, finally, Snapchat is introducing Lenses, which will let users take a Snap and then add a filter to it, to essentially spice things up even more. As Business Insider shows, there are some interesting additions.

If you haven’t tried Snapchat, a link to the free app is available below. What do you think of the new additions?
