The biggest game of the year – Super Bowl XLVII starts in less than 12 hours from now (3:30 p.m. PST and 6:30 p.m. EST). We list out a few apps that’ll help you see the match on your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad or enhance your TV viewing experience by augmenting it with additional information.

NFL Mobile

Verizon’s NFL Mobile iOS app will let you stream the entire game on your iPhone, and will also provide you a ton of information and coverage about the game. While the app is free, for a number of “premium” features, including the live video stream, you’ll need to be a Verizon Wireless customer. You can download the app using this App Store link.

SB XLVII Guide

Made in association with Verizon, the SB XLVII Guide is the NFL’s official guide app for the game. The guide has information about the event itself, restaurants and other points of interest around the event venue in New Orleans along with a map for visual guidance. It also lists all the events happening during the Super Bowl week on your calendar and lets you set alerts. You can download the app for free using this App Store link.

49ers Gameday Live

This is the official iOS app of the San Fransisco 49ers that gives you access to on-demand videos, breaking news, blog posts, scores, photos, stats and a lot more content related to the team and its players. You can download the app for free using this App Store link.

Baltimore Ravens Mobile

This is the official iOS app of the Baltimore Ravens, providing the same set of features as the 49ers app. You can see on-demand video, news, blog posts, photos, stats, scores, standings and a lot more through this app. You can download it for free from this App Store link.

ESPN ScoreCenter

While not specifically meant for the Super Bowl, ESPN’s ScoreCenter does a great job at presenting you with information about the the games and sports you care about, including the Super Bowl. The app is available as separate versions for the iPhone and iPad.

Yahoo Sportacular

Sportacular by Yahoo is very similar to ScoreCenter, in that it too allows keeping track of multiple sports and not just NFL. The app’s been pretty well received, having secured a spot in the App Store Hall of Fame as well as being featured in Apple’s “Great Free Apps” and “App Store Essentials” lists. You can download the app for free using this link.
