Ticketmaster’s iOS app was updated today with Apple Music integration making it among the very few apps in the iOS App Store taking advantage of the Apple Music API. The updated app will scan through your Apple Music library to make a list of your favorite artists that you listen to.
It will then automatically provide you with ticket alerts whenever an artist announces a concert in the city you live. And if you provide the app with access to your location, you will get more information about the various places your favorite artists will stop and where you can watch them perform.

Apple had debuted the Apple Music API with the release of iOS 9.3 last year. However, only a handful of apps take advantage of it, with the most notable one being Shazam that makes use of the API to help add identified songs to your library.
