Still struggling to justify Apple Watch’s $350 price tag? Perhaps you may be more interested in building your own instead. That’s exactly what renowned Nanoblock artist Christopher Tan did with this Apple Watch model that required more than 800 blocks.

If you’re unfamiliar with Nanoblocks, they’re like tiny LEGO bricks that have become incredibly popular in Japan, but can be found around the world. Tan has been using them for years to build all kinds of elaborate models and structures.

In doing so, he’s made quite a name for himself; featuring in magazines and receiving awards. Tan builds anything from little Pokemon figures to Japanese food sculptures and even an impressive model of the Fifth Avenue Apple Store that required over 2,000 blocks.

Tan’s latest creation is an awesome Apple Watch replica, which is 2.6x the scale of an actual 42mm model. It’s incredibly detailed — especially when you consider it’s made out of Nanoblocks — and likely much cheaper than the real thing!
