Disney’s streaming service Disney+ is now live in the United States, the Netherlands, and Canada. The service was supposed to go live at 3AM ET but Disney seems to have started the rollout a bit earlier than usual.

The Disney+ app for iOS, Apple TV, and Android is already live. The service can also be accessed online from DisneyPlus.com.

Disney+ has a subscription fee of $6.99/month or $69.99 per year. Disney+ launches with a massive content library that includes a number of popular movies and TV shows from the house of Walt Disney Studios, 21st Century Fox, Marvel Studios, Pixar, and more. Additionally, the service will also launch with some original content including ‘The Mandalorian.’ In total, the streaming service will have over 7,500 TV shows and movies available for streaming at launch.

The launch of Disney+ comes less than two weeks after the launch of Apple TV+. While Disney+ has an advantage in terms of content library, Apple TV+ has an advantage in terms of availability and pricing. Apple TV+ is already available worldwide while Disney+ will be available across parts of Europe and the United Kingdom in March 2020. Apple is also giving away its streaming service for free to new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV owners for a year. For others, the service will cost $4.99/month making it slightly cheaper than Disney+.
