The Sileo team has released an update to the Sileo package manager with some major bug fixes and improved Chimera and Checkra1n jailbreak support.
The latest version of Sileo (1.7.1) is about 10x faster for installation and while downloading new packages. The Sileo team had attempted to port the package manager for Checkra1n around the New Year but the release was extremely buggy.
Sileo 1.7.1 is now available for both Chimera and checkrain!
This improves the speed of both the GET button and installations (about 10x compared to 1.6.1)
Special thanks to @Diatrus for his assistance with the checkrain port

This time around, they have taken the assistance of Diatrus who was responsible for the unofficial Sileo port for Checkra1n. The latest build also no longer replaces the bootstrap components for Checkra1n outside of APT. This should further help improve the overall stability of the jailbreak as well as the package manager itself.
Sileo 1.7.1 is a single unified build for both Chimera and Checkra1n jailbreaks. Do note that the package manager still does not support Unc0ver which was recently updated with iOS 13 – iOS 13.3 support for A12/A13 Bionic devices. For Unc0ver jailbreak users, Cydia still remains the default manager, though for the willing, there are methods to switch to Sileo.
Sileo has a more intuitive and up-to-date interface that makes it more pleasing to use than Cydia. It was first released towards the end of 2018 by the Electra team to great feedback from the jailbreaking community. However, at the very end of 2019, CoolStar — one of the developers of the Electra team — announced that the development of the package manager was being suspended temporarily. One of the issues with Sileo is that it replaces Cydia entirely while users want to have both package managers on their jailbroken iPhone or iPad.
