Apple has been hosting summer camps for kids for quite some time now, and the trend continues this year with three new distinct projects.

Apple’s official landing page for Apple Camp 2016 is now live, and the company has officially announced the details and dates for each project. This year, kids aged 8 through 12 will create interactive books with iBooks Author on Mac, movies with iMovie for iPad and Mac, and also learn how to code to create their own games and program their own robots.

The projects will run between July 11 and August 12 in select cities across the globe. Times start at 10:30am and the camps will run until 3:30pm local time. The classes will be available in the following countries:

• Netherlands
• Spain
• Sweden
• Switzerland
• Turkey
• United Kingdom

It’s worth noting that spaces are a first-come, first-served basis, so parents should register their kids as soon as possible. After one child has been registered, the guardian will be able to register another kid if they need to. A legal guardian or parent needs to be present with the child through the class, on each day they are attending.

Coding Games and Programming Robots

Who wouldn’t want to create their own games and program their own robots? Kids will learn visual block-based coding for games, applying logic skills such as pattern recognition and problem solving. Then they’ll use what they’ve learned to program their own robots to perform tasks, challenges, and much more.

Stories in Motion with iMovie

Campers will learn everything they need to create their own movies. They’ll storyboard ideas, shoot video, and delve into other aspects of the filmmaking process. Then they’ll edit their new epics in iMovie on a Mac.

Interactive Storytelling with iBooks

Campers will create their own interactive books and learn about the elements of writing a story, from idea to storyboarding. They’ll draw illustrations using an iPad, then add sound effects and Multi-Touch features using iBooks Author on a Mac.
