At the end of June, the 44th annual Pride parade took place in San Francisco, California (with other parades happening in other locations across the United States), to support the LGBT community. Apple made a video showcasing the preparation for the event, and has now posted it online.
In the video, Apple shows their preparation for the event. Apple created custom T-shirts for the parade, special bicycles, and the company had thousands of rainbow-colored flags on hand. There was also a celebration before the parade kicked off for Pride, which you can catch a glimpse of in the video.
Tim Cook, Apple CEO, is a staunch supporter of equality. He also attended the Pride parade and walked alongside Apple’s Environment Director, Lisa Jackson. There were thousands of Apple employees present at the parade itself as well.
During the parade, Tim Cook tweeted the line you’ll see in the video, “inclusion inspires innovation,” while congratulating the Apple employees that had joined the parade.
