Bricked iPhone

A lot of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s owners have recently started complaining about their iPhone suddenly running out of storage space, and these are not owners of the base 16GB iPhone. Instead, these are people who own the 64GB and 128GB iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s, who are complaining about all free storage space on their handset mysteriously disappearing.

Worse, a few hours after deleting some apps, games and moving their less important data to their PC to free up some storage space, the out of storage space error once again pops up. As it turns out, the issue is being caused by a bug in WhatsApp that is silently taking up all the free storage space inside your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s.

WhatsApp iOS bug

The solution to this problem is a relatively simple one: simply update WhatsApp from the App Store. The iOS team over at WhatsApp have already issued an update that is now live on the App Store that fixes the issue. Install the update, wait for a few minutes, and the free storage space on your iPhone will go back to what it was previously.

Once you update the app, don’t forget to share it with your friends who are likely already frustrated with this bug.
