iPhone 14

Apple offers the iPhone 14 in five different bold colors. If you are looking to buy the iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Plus, I’d recommend it’s time you go with one of the many unique colors that Apple offers the device in. Read our guide below to decide which color iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Plus you should buy.

Apple offers the iPhone 14 in five colors, one less than what it offered with the iPhone 13. The company removed the Green and pink color models, which were available with the previous version.

Nonetheless, the five new color options for the iPhone 14 are very different from what Apple previously offered for its devices, especially when it comes to shades. Make sure also to check out our guide on which iPhone 14 storage variant you should buy.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus Color Options

Below are the five iPhone 14 color options that Apple currently offers:

  • Midnight
  • Purple
  • Starlight
  • Blue
  • (Product) RED

There’s no traditional purple or blue option here, as Apple has given a new name to all color options. What may sound like blue doesn’t look like blue, while white is named Starlight.

Which Color iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Plus Should You Buy?

Midnight

Apple had been deepening the black since the iPhone 12. The iPhone 13 Midnight was deeper than iPhone 12, and in iPhone 14, it is even more profound. It is the color to go for if you want your iPhone to have an understated look. The Midnight shade used by Appleis is slightly less shiny. Note that fingerprints and dirt are easily visible in this color shade.

Purple

Apple has replaced the Pink of the iPhone 13 with the new Purple color in iPhone 14. So if you love that color, you will miss it, and the closest that comes to it is Purple, but it is still not pink.

I feel this is the least attractive color, which will not only get dirty if you carry it naked, but many female audiences will now choose something else because of the missing pink.

Starlight

Continuing last year’s pattern, Apple calls Starlight the white shade for the iPhone 14 this year as well. It is a color that I will recommend to most iPhone 14 buyers to avoid. It is because, despite the white rear panel, the front of the iPhone 14 still has a black finish. It gives the phone a panda look that not everyone might like.

Also, if you plan to use it without a case, this color and the purple will get dirty. So choose wisely.

Blue

This blue shade of the iPhone 14 differs from the blue shade that Apple offered on the iPhone 13. As if Apple chose to mix the Starlight color with iPhone 13 blue to create this shade. While iPhone 13 Blue was deep, this is much lighter. It makes the phone’s rear look brighter and helps it stand out from the iPhone 13.

If you are not interested in the usual black or white colors, go for the iPhone 14 in blue.

(Product)Red

Want to buy an iPhone 14 and still want to do your bit in saving the world? Then you should get the (PRODUCT)Red iPhone 14.

Not only is this a bold color choice that looks pretty attractive in real life, but Apple also donates proceeds from selling its (PRODUCT)RED products to fight AIDS. Note that this year’s (Product)Red shade is lighter than Apple’s offer with the iPhone 13. In fact, iPhone 13 Red was dull, but iPhone 14 Red looks more attractive.
