We’ve covered hundreds of new and updated jailbreak apps and tweaks for iOS 7 since the evasi0n7 jailbreak was released late last year.
But it can still be a daunting task to find the best jailbreak tweaks on Cydia, so we wanted to make that task easier. Here are some of our favorite jailbreak apps and tweaks that have been released for iOS 7 that enhance the functionality or help you customize your iOS device.
biteSMS
biteSMS adds features such as Quick Reply, Quick Compose, delay sending, scheduled messages, templates etc. to improve the messaging experience on the iPhone.
The free version of biteSMS is ad-supported, but users can pay a one-time fee of $7.99 to remove the ads after a 7-day trial period.
iCaughtU Pro
Apple has made Find My iPhone, the anti-theft feature a lot more robust by adding Activation lock. It makes it impossible for a person who steals your iOS device to use it. However, it is still not fool proof when it comes to tracking your stolen device as someone can easily turn off your device.
This is where jailbreak tweak iCaughtU Pro comes in handy. It not only prevents someone from turning off your device, which would make Find My iPhone ineffective, it also takes a photograph of the person who tries to turn it off or unlock it using an incorrect passcode, and emails it to you with the GPS location, which can be very useful in catching the thief.
iCaughtU Pro is available on Cydia for $2.5.
Activator
Activator allows you to invoke actions using shortcuts from anywhere in the iOS. You will be surprised by the number of shortcuts you can use such as double tap on the status bar, triple tap the Home button, double press the sleep button to trigger stock actions or launch an app or go to the Settings toggle. It offers almost limitless shortcuts to make it easier to use your iPhone.
Activator is a must-have jailbreak tweak for power users. Check out this article to find out some of the cool things you can do with Activator. It is available for free on Cydia.
Asphaleia
Asphelia is a stylist jailbreak tweak that lets iPhone 5s users lock apps using Touch ID. It offers passcode based locking for non-iPhone 5s users. Tweaks such as BioLockdown, BioProtect, or AppLocker offer similar functionality, but Asphaleia is the most well designed one.
Aspheleia is available on Cydia for $1.99.
Auxo 2
Just like its predecessor, Auxo 2 is an awesome replacement for the app switcher. It has been completely re-imagined for iOS 7, and comes with a number of new features and improvements such as Quick Switcher that lets you quickly switch between apps, Multi-Center that integrates Control Center with the app switcher, the ability to close all apps running in the background and lots more.
Auxo 2 is available on Cydia for $3.99.
CCToggles
Apple added the much needed Control Center feature in iOS 7, which gives you quick access to System toggles, music controls, AirPlay, AirDrop and apps from anywhere in iOS, including the Lock screen.
However, the number of system toggles and quick launch apps are very limited. CCToggles fixes this by allowing you to customize Control Center by allowing you to add extra toggles in the top row, and extra quick app launch icons in the bottom row.

F.lux
We’ve all been there – a notification arrives on your iPhone late at night, and the screen brightness nearly blinds you for the first few seconds after unlocking. F.lux aims to solve this problem by adjusting the color of your iPhone’s display to better adapt to the time of the day.
You’d be amazed to realize how relaxed your eyes feel after installing this tweak, especially if you`tend to use your iPhone just before sleeping. In addition to this, it also helps you get rid of that eerie glow on your face when using your iPhone at night.
F.lux is available for free on Cydia.
Swipe Selection Pro
SwipeSelection Pro makes editing text on an iOS device a lot easier by allowing you to drag the cursor over the keyboard with a one-finger gesture, move the cursor faster with two-finger gesture and allow you to select text while dragging by holding down the shift key.
You can download and install Swipe Selection Pro for $1.99.
Springtomize 3
Springtomize 3 allows you to customize every aspect of the iOS such as increase the number of apps in the dock to 10, give the dock a cool coverflow effect, change the duration of the system-wide animations, remove the page limits, customize the default animations, the lock screen, hide icons of stock apps, resize icons and lots more.
Springtomize 3 is available on Cydia for $2.99.
iFile
iFile offers a complete file manager and viewer for the iPhone. It even gives access to device files like Finder on the Mac. It also allows you to edit text files and property lists, which can be quite useful occasionally.
You get a free 7-day trial, after which it costs $4.99.
LastApp
LastApp, a tweak on the BigBoss repo, brings Android like switching to jailbroken devices. After installing the tweak, you’d can assign an activator action to go back to the last or second last app depending on whether you’re on Springboard or in an app.
It is available for free on Cydia.
Infinidock
Inifinidock lets you you add an unlimited number of apps to your iPhone’s dock, which can be accessed by swiping across the dock horizontally.
It is available on Cydia for $1.99.
Sicarius
There are a number of tweaks that let you close all the apps running in the background via the app switcher. But I like Sicarius the most as it not only lets you kill all apps with a swipe, but it also ads a cool 3D animation to the app switcher. It also offers options to control how it works.
Sicarius is available on Cydia via the ModMyi repo for free.
iCleaner Pro
iCleaner Pro lets you remove unnecessary files from your iOS device and free up storage on your iOS device. It removes unnecessary files such as message attachments, cookies, Safari cache, application cache and more. You need to add the exile90software.com/cydia/beta/ repository to Cydia to download and install iCleaner Pro for free.
Action Menu Plus Pack
Action Menu Plus Pack enhances the copy/paste menu. It allows you to quickly tweet highlighted text or lookup highlighted text on Google Search, Wikipedia, Dictionary and Google Translate. One of my favorite features is clipboard history, which is a big time saver if you want to copy and paste multiple things at once.

JellyLock7
JellyLock7 is a lock screen launcher inspired by Android Jelly Bean’s lock screen. It replaces the “Slide to unlock” text with a circular unlock icon, which also doubles up as an app launcher giving you quick access to as many as 6 apps including the Camera app that are arranged in a circular fashion around the unlock icon.
JellyLock7 is available for free on Cydia.
Folder Enhancer
Folder Enhancer adds functionality to iOS folders such as the ability to create nested folders, allows you to make the folders bigger by selecting a 4×4 or 5×5 layout and lots more.
FolderEnhancer (iOS 7) is available in the BigBoss repo on Cydia for $0.99.
iKeyWi 2
iKeyWi adds a 5th row of keys to the virtual keyboard. By default, it adds number keys in the fifth row, which means you can save time as you don’t have to tap on the 123 key to access them. It also gives quick access to some of the commonly used punctuations and symbols when you tap the Shift key.
It also allows you to customize the keys in the 5th row via the Settings app to any character you want.
You can download iKeWi 2 from Cydia for $1.99.
Nitrous
It’s 2014 but unfortunately third party apps still don’t have access to the faster Nitro Javascript engine that is used by Safari since 2012, which means that web pages slow loader when you open them in the web view or UIWebView control used by many third party apps including third party browsers.
Nitrous is a jailbreak tweak, which as the name suggests enables Nitro Javascript engine in third-party apps, which should help in significantly improving the user experience on these apps. It will also improve the performance of the true web apps that have been saved to the home screen as even they don’t have access to the Nitro Javascript engine.
Nitrous is available on Cydia for $0.99.
TetherMe
TetherMe turns your iPhone into a personal hotspot so that you can use your mobile’s internet connection on your computer or other devices for a one-time fee. TetherMe is available on Cydia for $4.99.
BatterySafe
BatterySafe is a nifty little jailbreak tweak that automatically turns off power hungry features such as cellular data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc your iPhone gets low on battery power. It is available for free on Cydia.

NoteCreator
NoteCreator is a nifty little jailbreak tweak that lets you create notes from anywhere in iOS.
NoteCreator is available for free on Cydia.
TypeStatus
TypeStatus tells you who is typing the message in the Status bar so you don’t have to open the Messages app to find out who is typing.
You need to add the following repo to Cydia: cydia.hbang.ws to install the tweak for free.
LandscapeVideos
It is kind of pointless to watch videos in portrait mode. So LandscapeVideos saves you the trouble by automatically displaying the video in landscape mode even when you’ve orientation lock enabled.
You can download and install the tweak for free from Cydia.
NoSlowAnimations
If you want iOS to be snappier then install NoSlowAnimations, which speeds up animations.
The tweak is available for free on Cydia.
CleverPin
CleverPin makes passcode protection smarter or less annoying. It automatically disables the passcode when you’re connected to your trusted Wi-Fi networks.
You can download and install CleverPin for $1.99 from Cydia.
Winterboard
The best thing about jailbreaking is the ability to customize the look and feel of my iPhone. You no longer need to be greeted by the boring default look of the iOS. WinterBoard enables you to do just that, by allowing you to download custom themes from Cydia, that can be applied to completely change the look and feel of your iOS device.
Unfortunately, WinterBoard isn’t as powerful as it was prior to iOS 7. It allows you to just change the icons, you cannot modify`the look and feel of status bar, dock, lock screen etc, like you could do earlier. Cydget
There are some really cool things you can do to transform your Lock screen with Cydget. Check out the posts to find out how you can use customize the Lock screen such as the rising time bars, weather etc. using Cydget.

Zepplin
Zepplin allows you to change the carrier logo on your jailbroken iPhone.
You can download Zepplin for free from Cydia.
Barrel
Barrel adds cool animations while swiping through Home screen pages.
Barrel is available for $2.99 on Cydia.
Alkaline
Alkaline is another must-have tweak if you want to customize the look and feel of your jailbroken iPhone. It lets you change your iPhone’s Battery, Wi-Fi, and Data indicators.
You can download and install Alkaline for free from Cydia.
BytaFont 2
BytaFont 2 allows you change the system font on your jailbroken iPhone. It allows you to change the font in apps, Lock screen, and more.
It is available for free on Cydia.
Messages Customiser
Messages Customiser lets you customize almost every aspect of the Messages app such as the color of the message bubbles, customize the background, enable contact photos in list view and lots more.
You can download the tweak for free from Cydia to customize the Messages app.
Bigify+
If you’re wary about using Winterboard themes because it can drain battery life, then another cool way to customize icons on your jailbroken device is to use jailbreak app called Bigify+. Bigify+ offers tons of options to customize icons on your Home screen.
You can check out Bigify, which is the free version of the tweak but offers limited features. The full version is available on Cydia for $2.
