Pangu team has just released their long awaited jailbreak tool for Mac to jailbreak iOS 9 – iOS 9.0.2.
When Pangu team released Pangu Jailbreak for iOS 9 – iOS 9.0.2 couple of weeks back, it was available only for Windows.
Mac users had to run Mac on a Windows machine to jailbreak their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS 9 – iOS 9.0.2 using Pangu Jailbreak.
Pangu 1.0.0 for Mac will work with all iOS 9 compatible devices:
- iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s
- iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3 and iPad 2
- iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, 1st gen iPad mini
- 6th generation iPod touch, 5th generation iPod touch

As we’ve reported earlier, Apple has patched two Pangu iOS 9 Jailbreak vulnerabilities in iOS 9.1, so you won’t be able to use Pangu Jailbreak if you’ve upgraded to iOS 9.1. You will need to downgrade to iOS 9.0.2 to be able jailbreak your iOS device with Pangu Jailbreak for Mac.
