It’s been almost three weeks since evasi0n jailbreak for iOS 6 or later and the newer iOS devices like the iPhone 5, iPad 4, iPad mini etc.
Cydia developers have done a great job in releasing updates for the tweaks to add support for iOS 6 and iPhone 5, So I thought it was a good idea to revisit the best iPhone jailbreak apps and tweaks for iOS 6.
So without wasting much time here are my top 10 jailbreak apps and tweaks that are compatibile with iOS 6 and iPhone 5. Clicking on the download link on your jailbroken iPhone will take you straight to the package on Cydia.
Activator
Activator allows you to invoke actions using shortcuts from anywhere in the iOS. You will be surprised by the number of shortcuts you can use such as double tap on the status bar, triple tap the Home button, double press the sleep button to trigger stock actions or launch an app or go to the Settings toggle. It offers almost limitless shortcuts to make it easier to use your iPhone.
Activator is a must-have jailbreak tweak for power users. We’ll have a follow up article on some of the cool ways to use Activator shortly.

SBSettings
SBSettings offers a faster way to access Settings from any app without going through the hassle of exiting the app and launching the Settings app. Cydia developers can also create custom toggles for SBSettings that can be installed from Cydia, which can then be quickly accessed by users via SBSettings. You can access SBSettings either by swiping on the Status bar or via the Notification Center.
While I know a number of you like NCSettings, which looks really cool, the ability to add any Settings toggle to Notification Center or SBSettings window makes SBSettings my favorite tweak to enable or disable Settings.

WinterBoard
The best thing about jailbreaking is the ability to customize the look and feel of my iPhone. You no longer need to be greeted by the boring default look of the iOS. WinterBoard enables you to do just that, by allowing you to download custom themes from Cydia, that can be applied to completely change the look and feel of your iOS device.
WinterBoard allows you change the icons, modify`the look and feel of status bar, dock, lock screen, change the font and lots more. You can also customize all kinds of system sound with Winterboard. Another great feature of WinterBoard is the ability to mix & match several themes together.
Currently, I have the ayecon theme installed and just loving it.

biteSMS
biteSMS is the best alternatives for the Messages app. It includes number of features like Quick Reply, Quick Compose, scheduled messages, delivery reports, signatures, displays Contact photos and tons more that are not available in the native app.

LockInfo 5
LockInfo is my favorite jailbreak tweak for the Lock screen. With LockInfo, you can check my emails, access the Twitter feed and easily dismiss notifications from the Lock screen. It makes me a lot more productive (or that is what I think).
LockInfo also gives you give access to your Favorite Contacts and the weather widget on the Lock screen.
IntelliScreenX is another popular jailbreak tweak for the Lock screen, but I prefer LockInfo. It’s not perfect but I really like mail preview functionality in LockInfo. If you’re a Facebook addict then you may like IntelliScreenX.

Auxo is the best replacement for iOS app switcher and the bes jailbreak app of 2012. It replaces the app icons in the app switcher with a card-like screenshot of the current state of the app. The app cards makes it easier to identify the app you want to launch from the app switcher.
It allows you to remove apps from the app switcher by swiping down on the app and kill multiple apps by using multiple fingers.
The developers have also re-imagined the playback page in the app switcher with improved playback controls, a full-sized album artwork and more details about the song that’s now playing.
It also gives you quick access to frequently used Settings toggles like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, orientation lock, Airplane mode etc.

Zephyr
Zephyr brings cool multitasking gestures to the iPhone. It allows you to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to close apps, switch between apps simply by swiping left or right from the edge, smoothly swipe up to see the app switcher and swipe down on the status bar to take a peak at the Notifications and widgets.
It has recently been updated with a three-finger gesture to close apps and also to select the screen area where you want the gestures to work, which is useful if you use gesture based apps like Gmail, Facebook etc.

iFile
iFile is a file manager for jailbroken iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, which comes with tons of features such as compressing, deleting, viewing, copying, moving, renaming files and much more.
It’s like the Finder app or Windows Explorer for your iPhone. iFile also offers integration with popular jailbreaks such as Safari Download Manager.
It’s a must-have jailbreak app and worth every penny.

Springtomize 2
Springtomize is the mother all jailbreak tweaks that allows you to customize every aspect of the iOS. It has been completely rewritten for iOS 6. With Springtomize you can do things such as increase the number of apps in the dock to 10, give the dock a cool coverflow effect, change the duration of the system-wide animations, remove the page limits, customize the default animations, the lock screen, enable app switcher in landscape mode, hide icons of stock apps , resize icons, access Notification Center from the Lock screen and lots more. It also allows you to enable features such as Panorama, HDR etc. on iOS devices that don’t support these features out of the box.

iCaughtU Pro
iCaughtU makes Find My iPhone a lot more fool proof. It takes a picture with the front-facing camera when someone enters the wrong passcode or tries to turn off your iPhone and emails the photo along with the location by email. The jailbreak app also prevents someone from turning off your iPhone when it is locked. You can also configure it to perform actions based on SMS commands such as playing an alarm etc.

3G Unrestrictor 5
3G Unrestrictor 5 as the name suggests removes the restrictions that prevent you from doing things on your iPhone 5 while you’re on a 3G or LTE network such as FaceTime calls (if your carrier is still restricting it), download apps, music, movies, TV shows and podcasts bigger than 50MB, streaming HD YouTube videos, play games that need a Wi-Fi connection, automatic backup to iCloud etc.

Assistant Love
AssistantLove extends Siri’s capabilities by allowing you to use it to control apps such as Spotify, get directions using third-party GPS apps and allow you to enable or disable settings toggles.
It has been recently updated to integrate Google Maps and GrooveShark into Siri.

Safari Download Manager
When we talk about a web browser, the ability to download any file is a given, but that’s not the case with mobile Safari.
Safari Download Manager gets rid of this limitation by allowing you to download any type of file from the web. It also adds a download icon in the Safari toolbar at the bottom, which allows you to manage the downloads, just like a desktop browser.

Action Menu Plus Pack
It enhances the copy/paste menu. It allows you to quickly tweet highlighted text or lookup highlighted text on Google Search, Wikipedia, Dictionary and Google Translate. It also maintains the history of items added to the clipboard.

The jailbreak tweak prevents calls from interrupting you while you’re playing an iPhone game or writing an important email by displaying a banner notification when you get an incoming call. It also gives you an option to answer, decline or dismiss the call from the banner notification.

With Infinidock you can place as many apps you want in the dock and access them by scrolling horizontally.
I use this tweak to put my most frequently used apps (7-8 apps or folders) in the iPhone dock.

After installing OpenSSH, you can access your iPhone’s filesystem remotely and lets you use the full power of your device. But don’t forget to change the default password.

It makes passcode protection smarter. CleverPin automatically disables the passcode when you’re connected to your trusted Wi-Fi network, which you can configure via the Settings app.

iKeywi adds a 5th row of keys to iPhone’s virtual keyboard is one of them. By default, the jailbreak tweak adds number keys in the fifth row, which means you can access them without tapping on the 123 key. You can also gives quick access to some of the commonly used punctuations, or symbols.
