So you’re bored of the classic grey keyboard on your iOS device, what do you do? You’ll definitely find several jailbreak tweaks that’ll allow you to play around, customize and add your own touch to the keyboard. But if you’re looking to take it one step further when it comes to personalization with the official Apple keyboard, iKeys might be the one for you.

iKeys allows users to customize Apple’s keyboard option and really give it the extra touch. Aside from normal customization options such as changing colors and transparency the developer, orangebananaspy, has incorporated pre-made keyboard presets, referred to as “Recipes” in the app, making them available to users. These “Recipes” make it easier for users to create their own keyboard presets and therefore provide a further level of customization to those who are willing to spend the time on it. Those who are interested in going the extra mile can use Green Goblin to create their own custom recipes.

There are plenty of in-app purchases available as well once you have this downloaded. Users will be able to subscribe to the Recipe Store for either $1 per month or $10 per year if they are extremely into changing their keys often. You can also get access to exclusive recipes in app, which are said to be updated on an ongoing basis. You can also pay $3.50 for the Pro version of the app which offers an additional set of recipes and more “frequent updates.” You’ll need a jailbroken iOS device running anything between iOS 8.1 to iOS 9 to be able to use the tweak.

Many users are stating that the price is a bit steep and that there are alternative tweaks that when combined can provide similar functionality.
