Apple has just released iOS 8.1.2 (build number:12B440) for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
According to the release notes iOS 8.1.2 includes bug fixes and addresses a problem where ringtone purchased through iTunes Store may have been removed form your device.
If you are facing the issue, then Apple notes that users should go to http://www.itunes.com/restore-tones on your iOS device.
iOS 8.1.2 is compatible with the following iOS devices:
- iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
- iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad 2, iPad (third-generation), iPad (fourth-generation), iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display
- iPod touch 5G
It is not clear if iOS 8.1.2 kills the TaiG jailbreak, so it may be prudent for jailbreakers to avoid upgrading to iOS 8.1.2, and wait for TaiG to confirm if it is safe to upgrade or not.
If you don’t care about jailbreaking, then the update is available as an OTA download for these devices currently. The OTA update is 28.3 MB for iPhone 6 Plus.

Update 1:
iOS 8.1.2 may not have patched kernel exploit used in TaiG jailbreak for iOS 8.1.1
Update 2:
If you had accidentally upgraded your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to iOS 8.1.2 and want to downgrade back to iOS 8.1.1, then the good news is that you can downgrade as Apple seems to be still signing the iOS 8.1.1 firmware file. If you need help then follow our guide:
