Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak

The Electra team has released Electra 1.1.0 of their jailbreak tool for all iPhone and iPads running iOS 11 – iOS 11.4 beta 3. The latest update to the jailbreak tool brings an updated APT and dpkg along with improved vfs reliability.

Your iPhone or iPad should also be more stable to use after jailbreaking it now thanks to numerous under-the-hood improvements. The update has been tested for over 4 months and released after extensive testing so you should definitely notice stability improvements. All freezing issues have also been rectified in this update, though make sure you have updated to the latest version fo tweak injector and substitute as well.

If your iPhone or iPad is already jailbroken using Electra, you can simply run the Electra 1.1.0 tool again to overwrite the jailbreak. If you want to know more about Electra iOS 11 – iOS 11.4 beta 3 jailbreak, read our detailed FAQ.

Do note that it is a semi-tethered jailbreak which means you will have to jailbreak your device after every reboot. You will not have to connect your iPhone or iPad to a PC for this though since the whole process can be executed using the Electra app.

Sadly, it does not look like we are going to get any iOS 12 jailbreak this year. If an iOS 12 jailbreak was to drop, a jailbreaking team would have released it on Christmas. Some exploits have been discovered in iOS 12 including a Sandbox escape but it still requires developers to put in the hard work of using the exploit and turning it into a jailbreak.
