If you’ve just upgraded to watchOS 3 and you tried to take a screenshot by pressing both the Digital Crown and the side button, you might have realized that nothing happened. At least, for me, it didn’t.
In watchOS 3, Apple has introduced an option to disable taking screenshots on Apple Watch, presumably because people taking them accidentally way too often.
But what this meant for me was that the feature is disabled by default. I don’t know if that’s a bug but if you’re facing the same issue, here’s how you can turn it on.
Or maybe, you want to disable taking screenshots on the Apple Watch. Either way, follow our guide below.
Enable or Disable Screenshots in watchOS 3
For doing this, you’ll need to go to your iPhone and open the Watch app.
Now, from the “My Watch” tab, tap on “General“.
Swipe down till you see “Enable Screenshots“. Toggle it to enable/disable the feature.
Now press the Digital Crown and side button and you’ll hear that familiar camera click sound and the screenshot will be taken.
You can now go to your iPhone’s Camera Roll and you’ll see the screenshot there.
