jailbreak ios 9.3.3

As opposed to the previous jailbreaks, the Pangu iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak is a semi-tethered jailbreak that works quite differently than the older tools and is a little less convenient. The initial release contained many bugs, most of which were ironed out in subsequent updates.

However, some errors that appear during the jailbreak isn’t due to a bug in the jailbreak tool, but is rather related to your device configuration. An example is the “provision.cpp:150” error which some users, including our own readers, have been getting after inputing their Apple ID credentials in Cydia Impactor.

The reason behind this error is because two-factor authentication is enabled for your Apple ID account, therefore you’ll have to generate and use an “app-specific password”. To find out how to bypass “provision.cpp:150” error in Cydia Impactor, read the guide below.

How to Fix “provision.cpp:150” Error in Cydia Impactor

Step 1: Head to https://appleid.apple.com and log into your Apple ID account.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Security section and click on the Edit button.

Apple ID Security Section

Step 3: In this section, find the “APP-SPECIFIC PASSWORDS” part and then click on Generate Password.

Step 4: Enter a name for the password, which could be anything like “PanguJailbreak” and then click on the Create button.

Step 5: Copy the password that is generated.

Step 6: Now, when Cydia Impactor asks you to enter your Apple ID password, use the password generated in the last step.

Doing so will not display the “provision.cpp:150” error in Cydia Impactor. It will authenticate your account successfully and proceed with the jailbreak.

An alternative option is to disable two-password authentication temporarily. Once you’re done with the jailbreak, you can enable it again.
