The iMessage apps gold rush is here. I wish developers would understand that just because the can create iMessage apps, doesn’t mean that they should. But of course, they are. Even if it doesn’t make much sense for their app. And you can bet that almost every hip app that you have installed has a sticker pack now (apps like BuzzFeed and Alto’s Adventure). And when you update them, these iMessage apps will be installed automatically. Cluttering your app drawer. And once you have too many iMessage apps, it actually slows the app down.
So what can we do about this? Remove all the iMessage apps you don’t need.

How To Remove iMessage Apps
Step 1: Open the iMessage conversation and tap the “Apps” icon next to the “iMessage” text box. (if you’ve got the keyboard open, you’ll need to tap on the “right arrow” button first).
Step 2: You’ll see either an app or the Recents section here. Tap the “Grid” icon in the lower-left corner to see a list of all apps.
Step 3: Here, tap and hold on any app. All apps will start to wiggle. And they’ll have the “x” icon in the top-left corner. Tap that icon to remove the iMessage app. Do this for all the apps you don’t need.
