When I make a mistake typing these articles, I can just tap the delete key or use my mouse to correct the error. Correcting a mistake when typing on my iPhone can take about 5 minutes just for me to drag the finder to the right letter. So instead, I used Shake to Undo to quickly remove my latest entry. Undoing and retyping was a much faster. But when placing the phone in my pocket or simply walking with it in my hand, the shake to undo option would accidentally trigger. Now it looks like I’ll have to disable this for a while.
How to disable the shake to undo feature on iOS
You can quickly disable Shake to Undo by going to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> and disabling Shake to Undo. Since shake to undo is ON by default, all users will need to manually disable it themselves following these steps.

Shake to Undo is helpful, and this isn’t an article bashing the feature. But there are times when it is accidentally triggered, as Apple even notes itself. Unless I am writing a text or long email the feature is pretty useless, so I’m disabling it until I really miss it.
