A voicemail message is really just a moment in time being captured. I have voicemail messages from years ago that I have kept on different phones just because they were hilarious or meaningful in one way or another. By saving a voicemail, I could then share it with friends and family whenever they visited. But in a smart, but possibly strange move, iOS 9 allows voicemail sharing.
How to share Voicemails on your iPhone in iOS 9
Strange. There are many scenarios in which sharing a voicemail could be an interesting prospect. Sending a voicemail back to the drunk friend that left it for you. An ex-girlfriend’s angry voicemail possibly being shared to all of your friends. The options are truly endless.
Step 1.
To get this fun started, head into the Phone app and select the Voicemail tab in the bottom menu. This will bring up your recent voicemails in a list view.
Step 2.
Tap on the voicemail that you would like to share. This will open up a mini-menu where you can tap on the Share icon. The Share sheet will open up and you can select which method you’d like to use to Share your voicemail.
You can Share via Messages, Voice Memos, Notes, Mail and more.
