Siri is going to play an even bigger part of your iPhone in iOS 12. Siri now supports actions with Add to Siri feature and you can even set up your own automation shortcuts using Shortcuts app. But that’s not all. Siri is also going to take a proactive approach to help you out.
Siri Suggestions will show up contextually on the Lock screen. It can be something as simple as ordering a latte from Starbucks in the morning, or calling someone back when you’ve missed a call. Siri will also suggest that you turn a common or routine task into an automated action using Add to Siri.
The thing is that Siri Suggestions show up on the Lock screen, in black background and they’re persistent. They can be helpful but they can also be super annoying.
When it comes to Siri Suggestions on the Lock screen, your mileage may vary hugely. Is it annoying the hell out of you? Here’s how to disable it once and for all.

How to Disable Siri Suggestions on Lock Screen in iOS 12
Step 1: Open the Settings app.
Step 2: Go to Siri & Search.
Step 3: Turn off the toggle next to Suggestions on Lock Screen.
That’s it. And if you want Siri Suggestions to stop in Search or Look Up, turn off the respective toggles as well.
Disable Suggestions for Individual Apps
If you like the feature overall but you’re annoyed by Siri Suggestions about a particular app (Like Starbucks or Phone), you can turn off Siri Suggestions for just that app as well.
Step 1: Go to Siri & Search section.
Step 2: Scroll down to find the app and tap on it.
Step 3: Toggle the switch next to Search, Suggestions & Shortcuts.
